Rising Water
Louisiana State University, 2016.
After the flooding of Baton Rouge in 2016, Rising Water was an installation meant to acknowledge the rise and fall of water and the potential it has to influence light and form. Phenomenological influence on the space in regards to the city wide event influenced both movement in the space as well as reflection on the power of the event and the installation in the space.
The class collaborated on the concept design, The CnC milling, fin preparation, and installation in LSU’s Design Building atrium.
